Photography faq in Edmonton

Can we state with certainty that all photo shoots take place in a studio environment?

My studio (which is located in Edmonton) is where the majority of my picture and headshot sessions take place; however, the Bomcas media team is available to travel anywhere in the Lower Mainland of Alberta, Canada for a cost. In addition to corporate headshot sessions for groups of individuals or commercial projects, wedding, birthday, and special event photography are all popular on-location photo shoot requests; otherwise, the types of images that my customers are looking for are most often obtained in the studio, based on our previous experience.

Apart from portraits and headshots, do you have any other types of photography in which you are particularly skilled?

The fact that we are experts in people photography should go without saying, and I myself like photographing people from all walks of life, regardless of their age or background. In any case, whether you require business headshots for a legal firm, or boudoir images to commemorate turning 40 (or 50, 60, or 70! ), or family portraits to ensure that you and your loved ones are documented in photography for the benefit of future generations, we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with you.

It is possible for clients to request a few of non-portrait images as part of their photo shoot, which will be fulfilled. The use of non-portrait photographs is sometimes requested by clients who require both business branding headshots and product photography for their website, such as an Edmonton business owner who requires both family portraits and a brief pet photography section for their pooch, among other things. However, while I am happy to meet such requests, my primary emphasis and love is connecting with and photographing the amazing people of Edmonton, which I do with great joy on a daily basis throughout the year.

Considering booking a hair and makeup session for a photo shoot, I’ve been thinking about it. Will I be able to make a decision on how I’ll be dressed and styled?

Without a doubt, and without a doubt! I only work with a select group of the most talented hair and makeup professionals in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. Not only are they highly knowledgable, but they are also just as concerned with giving excellent customer service as we are, which in my opinion distinguishes them from the competition. It is safe to assume that the outcomes of a photo shoot at the studio with hair and makeup will be amazing and that you will look and feel your most gorgeous during the shoot if you arrange one with us.

What role does having my hair and make-up done by a professional play in my overall appearance?

It is determined by the specific circumstances of each case. When it comes to hair and cosmetics, I am completely unable to do it myself, therefore if you are in the same boat as me, I would strongly encourage you to employ professional assistance for your photo shoot. If you are comfortable doing your own hair and makeup on a daily basis or if you have a specific way you want done, I feel that you will not only be fine doing your own hair and makeup, but I would even advise you to do it yourself.

On the day of my portrait photography session, what exactly do I need to bring with me is a little difficult to pin down.

It is important that you should not feel pressured to dress in a particular way that is not representative of your individuality. For the most part, I recommend that you bring in 1-5 outfits for your picture shoot, but please do not feel pressured to dress in a particular way that is not representative of your individuality. Bringing your complete personality and sense of self to your photo shoot is the most critical thing you can do to ensure that the photographer captures your entire personality and sense of self. Everything from a pair of jeans to a T-shirt that you feel comfortable in is recommended for this event. As a photographer, it is my ambition to capture the uniqueness and soul of each and every one of you via my lens. As your photographer, this is my primary goal in collaborating with you on your project. This requires nothing more than your actual presence in the room, and we’ll take care of the rest using our magical abilities to complete the task. Moreover, if you require additional assistance prior to your shoot, you will not be inconvenienced. Every step of the way, when you schedule a photo shoot with me in Edmonton, you can expect to receive complete help at every step of the way.

In order to take a portrait photograph, what is the most effective way to pose?

You’ll observe me strike the pose at the beginning of the photo shoot, and then you’ll try to duplicate what I’m doing. Simply said, that’s the entire storyline! Just like that, it’s over and done with. Following the launch of my photography business in Edmonton, I’ve developed an exceptional ability to direct people on how to pose (whether we’re photographing corporate headshots, business portraits, glamour or boudoir images, family photos, or something else), and I’m confident in my ability to do so in any situation. What side of your face do you enjoy more than the other? Do you have a favourite? Initially, I’ll consult with you, and if you agree, I’ll proceed to work from the perspective that you have chosen to approach the matter. What are some of your most prized characteristics that you are proud to display? Every time you look in the mirror, you will see something in yourself that you don’t particularly like about yourself. All of these questions will be asked of you during your initial session in order for me to photograph you in a way that you will like seeing and remembering.
