We don't impose a single house style on wedding films — we develop a grade specific to each couple's footage and aesthetic preferences. During our intake process we review reference films and discuss preferences: warm and golden (ideal for Sturgeon River valley sunset ceremonies), cool and cinematic (great for winter ceremonies and blue-hour receptions at St. Albert Inn & Suites), natural and true-to-life, or a more stylised filmic look. We also match the colour grade between photography and video when handling post-production for both, ensuring your entire visual record from the day has a cohesive look.

We offer several transfer options depending on your footage volume. For projects under 50GB, we provide a secure cloud upload link and you can upload from anywhere. For larger productions (100GB–2TB+), we recommend either a direct hard drive drop-off at our Edmonton region office (convenient from St. Albert) or we can provide a physical drive for you to load footage onto. For clients who shot with us, we retain all raw footage in our secure archival system for 12 months post-delivery. We walk every client through the transfer process clearly — no technical expertise required on your end.

Yes — rush editing is available for projects where turnaround time is critical. This is common for event recap videos that need to be published within 24 hours of an event, press release footage from a grand opening or product launch, social media content tied to a trending moment, and sports highlight reels needed urgently for a recruitment deadline. Rush turnaround (24–72 hours depending on project complexity) carries a priority surcharge, which we quote clearly upfront. We recommend discussing time-sensitive projects with us as early as possible — the earlier we know, the more reliably we can accommodate it.

Yes — we offer standalone captioning and subtitling services for existing videos. We produce accurate SRT and VTT caption files that can be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, and other platforms. We also produce burned-in open captions for social media distribution. For clients with AODA or CRTC accessibility compliance requirements — including educational institutions in EIPS and EICS, healthcare providers at Sturgeon Community Hospital, and corporate clients — we produce captions to the required technical standards. Multilingual subtitle production is also available.

Our standard editing packages include two rounds of revisions after the initial cut delivery. A 'revision' means one consolidated set of feedback points provided in writing or via a timestamped annotation on the review link — not individual changes submitted separately. This structured approach ensures efficient turnaround and prevents scope creep. Additional revision rounds beyond the included two are available at an hourly rate. For ongoing retainer clients and larger corporate contracts, we negotiate revision structures that reflect the volume and nature of the work.
